Our Story
ShareTech was founded in 2000 on a simple but ambitious belief: enterprise-level IT capabilities should not be reserved for large corporations. From the beginning, our founders saw an opportunity to bring the strength, structure, and reliability of a full-scale IT department to small businesses, mid-sized organizations, and nonprofits without the cost and complexity of building that capability in-house.
Our founding vision was to build managed IT solutions that deliver the benefits of enterprise technology while remaining flexible enough to support a wide range of environments, from small office networks to organizations with thousands of devices. Just as important, we set out to provide that service with exceptional quality, responsiveness, and value.
That vision continues to define ShareTech today. We believe every organization deserves technology that is secure, dependable, scalable, and supported by experts who understand both the systems behind it and the business it powers.
Our Growth
Over the years, ShareTech has grown in reach, experience, and capability. We have expanded our team of skilled professionals, invested in leading tools and infrastructure, and refined our service model to meet the evolving needs of the organizations we serve.
While many providers offer a menu of separate services, ShareTech has remained focused on delivering a comprehensive managed IT solution through one streamlined offering at one predictable price. Our approach is built on the belief that clients should not have to piece together support from multiple vendors or service tiers to get the level of care they need.
As part of our continued growth, ShareTech has expanded both geographically and strategically through acquisition. In 2021, ShareTech acquired East Bay IT in Apollo Beach, Florida, extending our ability to support organizations throughout the greater Tampa Bay area. Founded in 2006 by Richard Panek, East Bay IT built a strong reputation for delivering trusted IT services to businesses across the region. The company opened its Apollo Beach office in 2010 to support a growing team and client base, and by 2018 had evolved into a hybrid managed service provider with expanded service offerings.
In 2022, ShareTech strengthened its presence in Minnesota through the acquisition of Now IT Connects, a respected managed service provider based in Clearwater. This expansion enhanced our ability to serve businesses throughout the greater St. Cloud area. Founded in 2004 by John Koshiol, Now IT Connects earned recognition for its efficient project management and hands-on technical expertise supporting organizations across the United States.

Today, ShareTech provides managed IT services to small and mid-sized businesses and nonprofit organizations with a model designed to deliver enterprise-level capability in a practical, cost-effective way.
